Wisdom From Yoga..... For Life

Finally I can tell you about this most recent project I've been a part of!!! My wonderful and beautiful friend Andrea has had a vision of creating a book based on inspiring words of wisdom from different yoga teachers in the community. And now, her vision has become reality!! She approached me in March and asked me if I'd be on board to capture her Gurus on camera. Of course!

So now the book is available online, for viewing as well as for purchasing. It is our hope that YYoga will soon promote the book within the studios.

Secret Project.....

These past few weeks have kept me busy with a new (secret) project. In a few months I think I'll be able to share what it is I've been working on. For now, I've gotta keep it under wraps!

Copies of the book are $35.00 each. Proceeds from the book will be donated to an East Van arts organization voted on by the book's contributors. The chosen organization will be announced on the website on April 15th and at the MAKE IT! Show.

This Old Car

I've been practicing making collages and grouping photos together. I still have a lot to learn and I'm not nearly savvy yet at the things I DO know....

Today the sun was shining and that always seems to make things look more intriguing, don't you think? I was drawn to this old Dodge Coronet parked (more like abandoned) in the parking lot behind my building. Luckily I had my trusty picture grabber with me!!

I like bikes!

For some reason, I've found myself drawn to photographing bicycles. I used to laugh it off and say.... "I'm weird, why do I always photograph bikes!?"

Now, I EMBRACE it! "Yeah! I LOVE photographing bikes!! They're beautiful!" I purposely search them out!!

Industrial Inspiration

Photography is a great escape for me. If I have something on my mind, I go for a walk with my camera and I am instantly in the moment. Today I went for a walk in the cement yard near my house. I found some amazing geometric shapes, and some cool reflections.
